The Polish Officer - Alan Furst

The Polish Officer

It is 1939 and Germany has invaded Poland. The Wehrmacht blazes a trail of destruction and surrounds Warsaw. France and Britain declare war, but do nothing to help. A Polish resistance movement takes shape under the shadow of occupation, enlisting those willing to risk death in the struggle for their nation's survival. One of those is Captain Alexander de Milja who joins the Polish underground to continue the struggle with acts of defiance and disruption.
