On 27 June 2009 the first Armed Forces Day took place. Events were held throughout Britain for people to show their support for the military. In Glasgow a parade of veterans and serving military was held in George Square.

Polish Airmen Remembered at Grangemouth

Memorial Wall

On 13 September 2008 a memorial was unveiled to commemorate pilots killed while serving at RAF Grangemouth (Scotland) during the 2nd World War. The event was organised by Flying Officer Tom McMorrow, commanding officer of 1333 (Grangemouth) Squadron Air Training Corps.

Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway

Bo'ness Station

Situated on the southern shore of the Forth estuary is the Bo'ness and Kinneil railway. Operated by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society it runs between Bo'ness and Birkhill.
