A trip to the seaside? The 11.45 train from Glasgow Central for Largs on the Ayrshire coast arrives into Paisley Gilmour Street with EMU class 318 no. 268 in the summer of 1990. For the passengers on the platform will it be lunch by the seaside in Largs, followed by an ice cream in the afternoon and then back home by train in time for tea? I do hope so.
