Remembrance Events and Armed Forces Parades
On 22 June 2014 Edinburgh's Armed Forces Day took place. The Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland led the parade of serving military personnel and veterans. They marched up the Royal Mile, gave the salute at the City Chambers to Edinburgh's Lord Provost Donald Wilson and senior miltary officers, and then continued to the Grassmarket. After the parade the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland entertained the crowds with their musical repertoire.
